Hanbojutsu Workshop

Our weapon theme this year is the 半棒 hanbo (3' or half staff).
The Japanese say that if you want to learn the secrets
of the sword, then to study the hanbo.


Hanbojutsu is a great extension of taijutsu and does
a wonderful job of making basic locks and
restraints correlate in a natural way.
